Walker Wireless’s concept of simple, wireless control of energy use in residential suites was originated in 1985, when Al Walker looked at how to make this cost effective. With his background in physics and microprocessor technology, Al knew there had to be a cost effective way to control building comfort. Instead of using expensive, difficult to install wiring and control relays, Al utilized innovative technology to provide a simple, cost-effective wirelss solution.
